This Privacy Policy describes how Get Drafted Now ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and handles your information when you use our Service. We do not sell your data.

2. Information We Collect

Account holders (commissioners):

• Name and email address provided at registration
• League and draft configuration data

Guest drafters:

• Name provided when joining a league
• Email address and/or phone number if provided for notifications
• Draft activity (picks made, notes added)

All users:

• Usage and behavioral data collected via PostHog (see Section 4)
• Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate and maintain the Service
• Authenticate users via magic links and session tokens
• Send draft notifications via email and SMS when you have opted in
• Analyze usage patterns to improve the Service

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

PostHog — product analytics and usage tracking. PostHog may collect behavioral data such as pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns.

Resend — transactional email delivery. Your email address is transmitted to Resend solely for the purpose of sending draft notifications.

Telnyx — SMS notification delivery. Your phone number is transmitted to Telnyx solely for the purpose of sending draft turn notifications.

We do not sell or share your personal information with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.

5. SMS / Text Messaging

When you opt in to SMS notifications, we collect your mobile phone number solely to send transactional draft alerts, including:

• On-the-clock alerts when it is your turn to pick
• Draft started, draft complete, and pick-due-soon reminders
• Time-bank phase alerts when applicable
• League invitations (if enabled)

Message frequency varies based on your draft activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or reply HELP for help. You may also manage SMS preferences at any time from Settings → Notifications.

Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Your phone number is shared only with our SMS provider (Telnyx) for the sole purpose of delivering the transactional messages described above. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of using the Service.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

We use cookies and browser local storage to:

• Maintain your session after login (strictly necessary)
• Store your magic link token as a fallback for browsers that restrict cross-domain cookies (strictly necessary)

Analytics tracking via PostHog may use cookies. You may opt out of non-essential tracking by declining cookies when prompted.

We use industry-standard security practices including JWT-based authentication with short-lived access tokens and HttpOnly refresh tokens. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
